Leigh Jameson has been working in professional theatre since 1987. As an actor, she has performed on stages from Alaska to Texas to Maine in productions that run the gamut from fairy tales to Shakespeare to classic musical theatre. She is a proud member of Actor’s Equity and SAG-AFTRA.
As founder of The History Warehouse, she has researched and created historical figures designed to be performed for historic sites, museums, educational institutions, and private events since 2009. Driven to provide quality actors for historical backdrops, Leigh was inspired by her own work as an interpreter for museums such as the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History, Colonial Williamsburg, and the Mount Vernon Estate and Gardens.
Leigh loves telling stories and has spent years sharing ghost tales to students from across the country. "Wonderfully engrossing" and "a distinctive range of vocal nuances from the kittenish to the steely" are some of the kind words bestowed on her performances.
